Jul 14, 2022 · 3 Comments

The SweetPhi team has spent some time putting together things they keep meaning to do – a bucket list of sorts!  If you’re looking to try something new, download and print a copy of our In the Kitchen Bucket List.

We all jotted down a list of things we’ve been meaning to try in the kitchen – and added a few we have already done, but wanted to include for you to try.

Cooking with kids in the kitchen can be tricky, but also so rewarding and fun!  Don’t worry, there are plenty of recipes to try with kids that won’t be *too* stressful to start out:

  • Eggless waffles
  • Egg cups
  • Pizza of any sort!

Here is a whole list of recipes to get you started.

There are a few things on the list that we have tried and would love to know if you have too!  For instance, if you’ve been following SweetPhi for awhile now, you know that we love making pizza dough!   This is our go-to recipe that you can use to check one thing off the list right away!In the kitchen bucket list

So, give yourself a little bit of a challenge and try some fun in the kitchen.  We’d love to hear what you try so leave a comment below!

I make the pizza dough prolly 2-3 times a month. I use it to make thin naan type dippers for hummus as well as pizzas. My grandson loves the dippers and humans as well as making his own pizza with his own dough ball.
Pigs in the blanket is another favorite of ours to make with this dough as well. It’s a fairly straight forward easy and forgiving dough. We love it!

I love the idea of making dippers, I’ve never thought of that. I bet my kids would love them, they certainly love the store bought ones. Thanks so much for sharing that idea Cheri!! And yum- homemade pigs in the blanket, another thing i need to try!!

I love the idea of a kitchen bucket list! I often think of items for seasonal cooking bucket lists, but never seem to actually act on them. Grrrr.
