Oh my goodness, this homemade iced maple latte is SO good! They have legit replaced my morning Starbucks coffee and that is saying A LOT! When you read on to learn how easy these are to make, you won’t believe it!
The first time I had a maple latte was when I was on my trip to Vermont in July. I got home and couldn’t stop thinking about the amazing maple latte I had….ok, really, all of the delicious maple treats I enjoyed. I knew I had to recreate the iced maple latte at home.
I have always preferred iced coffee – even in the dead of the winter – so naturally, that is how I enjoy this drink, but you can enjoy it hot too. That’s the best part – it’s so flexible and SO tasty. This latte has the perfect amount of sweetness; nothing too overpowering.
Enough of my gushing about how much I love this drink. I bet you’re wondering how you can make a latte at home, aren’t you? It’s so easy – a few quick steps and a mason jar is all it takes!
How to make an iced maple latte at home:
- Pour milk and shake vigorously
- Add maple syrup and foam
- Stir and enjoy!
Of course, there are a few more details in the recipe below, but really it’s as simple as it sounds. And once you make this iced maple latte at home once, you’ll wonder why you haven’t been doing it all along. Making your latte at home just saved you $5! I’d love to hear – now what will you do with that extra $5 everyday?
Once you start making these lattes at home, I think you’ll be addicted. So, if you loved the homemade maple latte, I have another one for you to try! My homemade iced salted honey latte is the one where I learned just how simple it was to make lattes at home. Hope you enjoy!
Other recipes you might enjoy:
Homemade Iced Maple Latte
- 1 cup milk
- 1 - 2 cups ice
- 1 1/2 cups coffee or espresso, at room temperature (if you want a warm latte, you can leave your coffee warm and omit the ice)
- 2 tablespoons pure maple syrup
- In a jar with a lid, pour milk (2% or whole milk) and shake vigorously back and forth for a minute, until foamy. Take off the lid and microwave for 15 seconds.
- Fill two large glasses (or mason jars) with ice. Pour coffee evenly between the glasses.
- Drizzle in maple syrup between two cups. If you like your lattes a little on the sweeter side, use a little more maple syrup per cup.
- Using a spoon, hold back the foam and pour a little milk into each glass. Then, take spoonfuls of the foam to add on top of the latte.
- Stir to combine and then enjoy!

Happy birthday! 35 is a great year. Mazel Tov! Congratulations! I love coffee and tea. I’ve always enjoyed them iced. My favorite coffee is an iced coffee that’s brewed in the fridge overnight with sugar free french vanilla to sweeten it. Oh yes, cream too. So good!
Thank you so much for your well wishes and for your comment!!
My hubby would love this. I am not a huge maple fan (gasp), and I drink a little coffee with my cream! But I do love vanilla lattes and chai tea lattes. My hubby and I have a standing date every Sunday morning – we walk to Starbucks and get our coffee! Happy birthday!
Hahaha, I definitely love a little coffee with my cream too 😉

This looks great! Going to try to make from home instead of going out for my next coffee treat!
I hope you love it (and thank you for commenting!)
Oh yum. I might try to make something similar, but keto-friendly (maple flavored syrup and non-dairy milk). My favorite Starbucks drink is mocha frappuccino (I really need to start making that at home). And happy 35th birthday!
I love the idea of making this keto friendly, let me know if you try it 🙂

I’m not a coffee fan, but maple sounds delicious. My Starbucks go to is Caramel Apple Spice, so maple isn’t too far removed from that!
Oh how interesting, I’ve never heard of a caramel apple spice, so I totally need to go look that up, sounds amazing.

Ok, a cold brew irish cream?! I totally need to find that and try it!!! I made a Baileys coffee once and loved it so much, so I’d love to try the cold brew version (can I ask where you got it?)

I, unfortunately (or not unfortunately!), do not like coffee. My twin daughter does, so for 13th birthday, she received a single serving k-cup machine. She loves anything caramel or mint flavored.
Happy Birthday! May you have the most blessed, best birthday!
I love that you got your daughter a K-cup machine, what a sweet gift!! And thank you for the birthday wishes!

I am so excited to try this maple latte. Salted caramel is my favorite iced coffee drink . I also looked at your honey and sea salt … that also looks soo good. I mean it’s fun to stop at Starbucks and get a treat but also fun to save money and make them at home
I feel the same way – I love making fun lattes at home, but do love trying new Starbucks ones (I just tried their oat milk honey one and loved it!)

Oh yum!! I love maple flavor! My favorite coffee drink is a Miel Latte, which is raw honey, milk, espresso and a little smidge of cinnamon. So delish! Really comforting flavors, too. Def going to try this maple one!

Who doesn’t love coffee?? My favorite is pretty much anything with coconut flavor and it’s a double win if it’s a local cafe!!
Isn’t coffee amazing? I love local cafes and the unique drinks I find there 🙂

I’m not a coffee lover, but my cafe go-to favorite is always some type of hot apple cider!
Yum, that sounds delish!
It is hard to pick a favorite. I usually go for a vanilla latte. If I want richness i go for a white mocha with a bit of whipped cream. This summer in Italy I was all about the foamy cappucino.
Yum, both sound good!

My fave day off coffee is a lovely cinnamon dolce latte, with real cream whipped top.
it’s perfect for the days I have time to truly sit back and savor the subtle layers of cinnamon, coffee and sweet cream. My guilty indulgence 🙂
It sounds soooo good!
