1/2red habanero pepperfinely chopped (or you could use 1/2 teaspoon red chili flakes)
1red bell pepperfinely sliced
1lbraw shrimppeeled and deveined, tail on
1cupwhite wineyou could use broth instead of wine
1/4cupfresh cilantrochopped, plus more for topping
1baguette or sliced ciabatta bread for serving with the shrimp
Instructions
In a large pot or skillet with a lip, melt the butter and add in minced garlic, salt, habanero (or red chili flakes) and red bell pepper slices and cook for 3 minutes, or until the bell peppers have softened.
Next add in the shrimp and cook for 10 minutes, until the shrimp has cooked through.
Add white wine and cook until wine has reduced a little (2 minutes) then add in the cilantro and stir, and top with more cilantro and serve.
While the shrimp is cooking cut and/or toast the bread.
To serve, ladle shrimp and the delicious liquid into a bowl and serve with bread.
