In this weeks Love List I’m sharing some camping favorites, so welcome to this love list – camping edition. I went camping with my oldest, Ben, and was so surprised at these standout items and how amazing they were.
- Sleeping Bag – the worlds best sleeping bags from REI. My father in law gifted us these years ago (I’m talking like 15 years ago) and we haven’t used them much…to the point I had forgotten about them. But wow, they were amazing.
- I brought along my newly purchased luxury Woods Nature Spray – Tick & Mosquito Repellent. Neither Ben nor I got a single bug bite! And bonus, it smells so good. It smells like a hot man in the woods!
- A classic but goodie – Trail Mix!
- Back up charger – we got no reception but I still wanted to take pictures, and I needed a charged phone to do so 🙂
- You know how much I adore reading (monthly reviews here) and if you have Amazon Prime you get 2 free books a month for your Kindle (via Amazon.com/firstreads), I had been reading on my phone but hating it, so I finally got a Kindle. I’m obsessed! They’re so light now adays. I think I had some kind of reader thing yeaaaars ago but this one is incredible, and such great/long battery life!!
- Clean face disposable towels – dermatologist approved and great for cleaning your face on the go.
- This Milwaukee Tool flashlight – far superior to any other ones I saw.
- Foldable camping chair with a cup holder is key! Especially for camp fires.
- And the ultimate camping artist I listen to/love – Caamp, fitting with the name, right?
