Love List – Back To School Teacher Gift

In today’s Love List –  the most amazing pens, a shiny new makeup set, a movie I didn’t like (the book was better, so much better), and a cute back to school teacher gift.

• When I visiting my bestie we went to a bookstore and they had cute book related pens (Bookworm ones) and I got some and got coffee themed ones (called The Coffee). They write so well, and they’re colored too – like if the pen outside is red the ink is red! THEN, I just came across The Teacher ones. I’m going to get them for back to school teacher gifts and give them the pens and a Target gift card!
• Last year I got the teachers a mini Teacher Survival Kit and a Target gift card!
• I absolutely loved My Oxford Year as an audiobook and then I loved it so much I bought the paperback. I gave it a 5/5, I normally forget books but with this one, it really stuck with me. I was SO excited that it was coming to Netflix. So I watched it and I actively hated it! Negative love. The book was SO MUCH better. The movie was just a pile of garbage. There were many sweet moments this missed the mark on (I did like the karaoke scene), and what was with switching her ‘job’. In the book she actively has a dream job while in school, and in the movie she is going to start a job at Goldman Sacks, it just didn’t make sense with the story! UGGGHHH this was awful. The ending in the book is sad yet hopeful but in the movie it’s just alluding to sad but is blah.
• My camera strap broke, considering I’ve had it over 10 years I’d say it’s served its purpose. I found this cute one (comes in many prints!) so I’m getting it as a replacement, can’t wait.
• These are just hands down the best protein bars! This is like our 4th or 5th time ordering them, I haven’t seen this flavor in stores so I get them on Amazon.
• I got a really beautiful makeup set from R.E.M beauty. It included the eclipse glow stick in fembot, sweet dreams powder eyeshadow singlet in fembot, on your collar plumping lip gloss in fembot, ssential drip glossy balm in fembot. It’s soooo pretty and shiny.
