Every Wednesday I share the Love List – my favorite finds, recipes, reads, and little joys from around the web. In a very random list, here’s what caught my eye this week: a cool new eye liner (on my quest to do a cat eye), a candle that smells sooo good – plant-y and expensive, everyday hoops (affordable), a new bread box, a computer program/app I’m obsessed with and more! Let’s dive in.
- You guys, I’m on a mission to do a cat eye. Despite multiple tutorials watched, it’s just not going well. I saw a celebrity makeup artist use Urban Decay 24/7 Liquid Stick Retractable Waterproof Eyeliner + Brush this stuff is a great eyeliner, and, you guys, we’re getting there. There was a baby cat eye-kitten eye that happened with me yesterday lol. Any cat eye tips?
- I don’t know if you’ll remember I mentioned (probably years ago) that I felt like an adult because we got bee plates/set. So in love with it still. Anyway, Nick was looking at the bread box and he said it was just looking old and dated in our kitchen, so I found this one – part of the bee set, so in love!!!
- Ben made us breakfast from The Complete Cookbook for Young Chefs (on sale for $8.58)- avocado toast one day and yogurt parfaits the next. Just wow! So impressed!
- You guys know how much I love Carley Fortune, right? She’s an amazing author and I feel like I discovred her before she blew up. I love how wildly popular she’s become. Anyway, if you’re familiar with her books, specifically One Golden Summer, there’s a Charlie Florek candle, you guys, it smells so good “smells expensive and plant-y). I believe this is my fourth one? It smells like a hot low key rich man lol.
- I was looking for bigger everyday hoops that I didn’t have to take off that didn’t have a back I’d have to take on and off, you guys, I got the cutest set of hoops at Target! $9.99!
- Probably the most ridiculous expensive thing I’ve ever ordered for my office, but it’s gorg!
- Another ridic thing I’ve purchased that’s bringing me so much joy – this purse/key charm/fob thing.
- I’m obsessed with the OneNote program – it organizes my notes and puts them into ‘notebooks.’ If you have the Microsoft suite you probably have it on your computer and just don’t know it! An IT person randomly told me about it while we were fixing something on my computer. I love love love that I can use it on my phone and on my desktop. It truly has made my life so much easier. It’s half the reason this love list even gets done, because I can just jot down notes on the go. It’s where I keep my shopping list, or my book lists, everything that’s a list lol, it’s an incredible program.
