Love List – Girl Math on Expensive Face Cream

Every Wednesday I share the Love List – my favorite finds, recipes, reads, and little joys from around the web. In a very fun list, I’m sharing hair ties that double as bracelets, my insanely expensive face cream I just rebought (and girl math), a pretty dress that’s on sale, the prettiest universal knife block, my bowl saga and more, lets dive in!

• Evanescence – has new album. My nephew told me this because he was seeing them in concert, omg, brought me back, I used to love them (20 years ago)!!
• Girl math says this face cream was absolutely a responsible purchase. First, I told Nick how expensive it was, and he immediately asked how long one jar lasts. After doing some rough cost-per-day math, he declared it “totally affordable,” lol which is basically the same as getting financial approval (he’s the best). Then I realized it was $18 cheaper than I thought, so technically I basically made money. At that point, not buying it would have been financially irresponsible. Is it a ridiculous amount to spend on face cream? Absolutely. But it’s also the only thing I’ve found that doesn’t irritate my sensitive skin, so I’m going to keep using it—and continue considering it both skincare and sound financial planning. I also blame my mom for finding me/gifting me/getting me hooked on something that actually healed my crazy skin when it was red and peeling. lol
• Another slightly unhinged purchase. Hair ties that double as bracelets – I thought these were stupid but I kept seeing it so I got one and every time I wear it I get compliments- Frankie really wanted one so I got her and I a set to share
• How pretty is this dress? Nordstom Rack
• You guys-Neapolitan ice cream, it’s the best! Everyone gets something they love. I love where the chocolate and strawberry touch. Blue bunny neapolitan
• Ugh, my mixing bowl saga. Ok, I got these from the Martha collection, they had lids are are expensive. I got them and the kids opened the packaging and it was like a few weeks later, you guys, they’re so cheap!!! They’re like cheap plastic bowls! I thought they were ceramic. So then I went hunting on Etsy, and this beautiful checker bowl – I got it on sale, it was a 50% off sale!!

• Universal knife block – it takes up so little space compared to a big knife block and just looks so much better, I looooove it, and it fits everything so nicely!
