Every Wednesday I share the Love List – my favorite finds, recipes, reads, and little joys from around the web. In a very fun list this week, I’m sharing some things some cute/ good movies we’ve seen in theatres, the song Nick picked for me when I enter a room, the most luxurious earrings everrrrr (I’m in awe and obsessed, they’re just my style), also the bessssst purse for sports practices/games when you have lots of kids, the cutest ghost towels and much more, let’s dive in!
- Finding Emily-This romcom was so cute!! When I first moved to WI I lived about 40 min outside Milwaukee (where Nick lived), we went to a lot of movies because that was the only thing to do out there! So it was fitting that on our anniversary we went to see a movie. This was such a cute romcom, perfection, no notes! It was cute, funny, and really got the college experience right- my bff and I even danced to the Yeah Yeah Yeahs like in the movie and went to lots of live shows, so it hit especially close to home, just loved!!!
- Spiderman: Brand New Day-We saw this, I’m such a fan of Marvel movies!
- I don’t know why, but we’ve been watching the Avengers universe in order!
- This past weekend Nick took all 4 kids out of the house. I had 1.5 hrs of uninterrupted alone time. I got SO MUCH work done, I can honestly not remember the last time it was so quiet and I got to work so much. When he came home I told Nick how victorious I felt. He told me to walk into the room, and as I did he played this song.
- Ahhh – look at how gorg these Italian leather slingbacks are, plus if you sign up for their emails (eyeroll) you get 15% off. I just got them!!
- How totally adorable are these ghost hand towels? I’m ready for Halloween!!
- Also, while you’re shopping at World Market get a wild moss and neroli candle
- The amount of time I spend at practices and games is a little unreal. 3 kids playing sports with multiple practices a week and games on weekends. Soooo I’m constantly carting around water bottles. How amazing is this purse with organization? I got it and love it! No regrets! My old purse would dig into my shoulders and was too floppy, this one is structured and amazing. It’s also water proof!
- I’d been eying these Valentino earrings for a while, I had seen them on someone and just loved the way they looked. I must have mentioned it to Nick, because he got them for me for our anniversary, I died! They’re even better in person, they’re just perfection and so me, and now they’ll always have a special memory for me.
- I got Nick this cool bracelet made out of old records! (It’s our ivory anniversary)

I can’t imagine wearing earrings that cost over $400+. Our wedding anniversary is October 27th and we will be married 25 years. We were 21 when we were married.

Aww, happy almost 25 years to you! That’s amazing. I totally understand — everyone has different things they like to splurge on or that feel special to them. I’m not really a purse girl, and I only got my ears pierced last year, so these felt extra thoughtful. Nick knows me so well, and honestly I feel so loved and confident every time I put them on, which makes them even more special to me.
