Love List – Makeup Goodies and Lucky Stars

Every Wednesday I share the Love List – my favorite finds, recipes, reads, and little joys from around the web. In a very fun random list, here’s what caught my eye this week: a motivating print, makeup things – what I’m trying new and a tried and true foundation (yes, it’s a little pricey, but there’s nothing like it) and I’m starting on the cult favorite new book!

• I tried the Jones Road brand – I’ve been seeing them everywhere. They have clean products, and minimal which I love. I got the Miracle balm in dusty rose. It’s a lovely multi use product, you can use it on lips, cheeks, eyes. I will say the dusty rose is too light for me this time of year (summer – maybe because I have a little color). I love the feel of it, you can’t even tell it’s on, but next time I order I’ll probably do a darker color! I also got the Bright skin illuminating drops in Rose Gold this one is very subtle which I like, like it doesn’t make your face look insanely glowy, it’s subtle and nice, this is such a pretty shade.
• Speaking of makeup things, I reordered my foundation Pat McGrath Labs Skin Fetish: Sublime Perfection Weightless Foundation Color: Light 4 – light with peach undertones. Yes it’s a little pricey, but I haven’t found anything like it anywhere, it’s super lightweight but full coverage. I’m just obsessed!
• Remember last week when I told you I was trying this new mattifying primer and this moisturizer? Well HOLY COW, both were SUCH WINNERS!!!! The primer, wow, makeup just goes on smoothly over it and your skin looks smooth, and I love the moisturizer, it really nourishes and absorbs into the skin nicely, only thing is that it has a no scent, not fun, but I get it. It works so well I don’t even care, I’ll wear it whatever it smells like.
• If you have a Costco membership – hurry on over to get the Tillamook Cracker Cuts, so good! I’m particularly loving the pepper jack ones, I haven’t had pepper jack cheese in forever, this is reminding me why I love it!
• I asked my hubby to get me a snack and he brought me some of these as a joke, you guys, lol, I almost ate the whole sleeve, why are they so good?
• I was number 242 in line and finally got my turn at the library for the uuuuuber popular book Yesteryear. I’ve read a little and I will say it draws you in!! I’ll tell you what I think when I’m done!
