Love List – New Drinking Glasses And One Of My Ankle Tattoos

In today’s Love List I’m sharing fun drinking glasses we got, along with the story of one of my ankle tattoos. Also sharing the comfiest new shoes/clogs I got, small glass bottles and a super cute kids movie, and so much more, let’s dive in!

• We’re in that transition of having plastic kid cups and the kids being old enough to drink out of glass, so I let each kid pick out a glass and we got a set of fun glasses. I first saw these on Gina from Skinnytaste’s IG stories and just fell in love:
  • Ben –surprising but love it!
  • Sam – how fun, he does love avocados
  • Freddie – he wanted a frog and this was the closest? lol Love this because – did you know – I have a clover tattoo on my ankle? My ankle tattoo started as a tribute to my dog, Clover—sweet, right? Except it was free (should have been a big red flag), done by a newbie at a friends tattoo shop, and, well… it looks like it. I tried to fix it once a few years later, but it didn’t get much better – something about how the skin absorbs green lol. Now, I just embrace it as my own little lucky charm—questionable artwork and all!
  • Frankie – so cute and perfect for my little princess
  • Me – I chose a bee for my drinking glass because I’m usually buzzing around like a busy bee
  • Nick – he loves orange juice so this is perfect
• While I was at it I just had to buy this cute sweater
• I’ve been eying up Danskos for years. My sisters are doctors and all wear them. I liked their traditional clog but didn’t LOVE it. Welp, they have this one style that I omg’d at, loooove. So check out my new shoes: I’ve worn them every day since getting them. They’re perfect to throw on and go.
• Our vegetable peeler had an unfortunate incident with the dish washer, it fell on the heating coil and the whole handle was mangled, so I put ‘vegetable peeler’ in amazon and bought the first one I saw. Works great (my other one was like 15 years old so anything would have been a huge improvement.
• Ordered these little glass bottles for making immunity/green juice drinks in, but also for Frankie. She loves taking a yogurt drink to school but never finishes more than half so we end up throwing it away (because yogurt drink that has been unrefrigerated all day with just an ice pack in her lunchbox is probably no bueno to drink).
• A coworker brought in this tripod for our Christmas party to take a group photo and it worked so miraculously. I had/have an expensive one that was always breaking in some way and took up SO MUCH space, so I when I was wanting to video something for the blog I asked her and it was this one and it was 47% off when I bought it, under $20!!
• I got a manicure last week, it brought me so much joy whenever I looked down. Reminder to paint my nails more often.
• The Wild Robot – such a cute kids movie, thought it should have won the oscar (in all fairness I hadn’t seen the other films lol)
