Pig of the Month Review {and a HUGE Giveaway!}

Sep 24, 2014 · 503 Comments

Imagine a dream in which BBQ got delivered to your door, all packaged perfectly, all sauced and ready with heating and pairing instructions…the day before you were going to have a tailgate party…now image that in this dream you’re eating this BBQ and it is some of the BEST BBQ YOU’VE EVER HAD…IN YOUR ENTIRE LIFE!

My friends, that dream became a reality when I experienced delicious BBQ from Pig of the Month (a company that delivers perfectly smoked barbecue ribs, award winning pulled pork, specialty sausages, gourmet bacon, and lip-smacking Award Winning BBQ sauces right to your door!)

Pig of the Month BBQ Review this image

So a little side story…when I lived in North Carolina (where I first had yummy BBQ) I was telling one of my girlfriends I was going to a ‘meet-up’ for a book club, she heard ‘meat-up’ and thought I was going to some fun meat exchange. Sadly, there was no meat exchanged and forever after we laugh about ‘meat up.’ With Pig of the Month, you can have a ‘meat up’ … which is exactly what I did for a tailgate party.

Pig of the Month BBQ ReviewAnd guess what, everyone LOVED it (surprising, I know, lol). The ribs were perfectly seasoned and sauced, the pulled pork and chicken were juicy, the brisket was out of this world, the bacon…omg, the BACON, it was the best bacon I’ve ever had, and the sausage…the duck, pear and port sausage was out of this world, and the BBQ sauce was the perfect way to finish bite after bite.

Pig of the Month GiveawayOne party guest said ‘this is the perfect tailgate food, it’s the food you want to eat, but not prepare.’ Which is so true…why go to all the work to get great BBQ when Pig of the Month can do it for you?

Pig of the Month BBQ Tail Gate

Is your mouth watering yet? (The BBQ on the plate is from Pig of the Month, the pickles on the sandwich are homemade, recipe here, and the mac and cheese recipe is coming this Friday as part of Five Ingredient Fridays).

Now for any special occasion, I order from Pig of the Month for my Dad. He definitely doesn’t need another t-shirt or sweater, but some good ribs – he’s all smiles.
