It’s the kind of sandwich you make once and instantly know it’s going in your regular rotation. Whether you’re using leftover turkey from the holidays or fresh slices from the deli, this sandwich feels special enough for guests yet cozy enough for a solo lunch. Why you’ll love this turkey cranberry sandwich
Crunch and flavor in every bite. Toasted walnuts bring a buttery crunch that pairs perfectly with creamy mayo and tangy cranberry.
Perfect balance of sweet and savory. Cranberry sauce or jam adds just enough sweetness to complement the turkey, cheese, and blue cheese tang.
Totally customizable. Use your favorite turkey (deli or homemade), swap cheeses, or even turn it into a grilled sandwich.
Great for holidays or everyday. Ideal for using Thanksgiving leftovers or making something impressive from simple ingredients.
Restaurant-quality at home. It looks fancy and tastes gourmet but comes together easily in your own kitchen.

Tips for Success
Toast everything -the bread and walnuts – for the best flavor and crunch.
Don’t skip the mayo + garlic salt + blue cheese combo. It adds subtle savory depth that ties the sweet and tangy elements together.
Go easy on the cranberry. A thin layer adds brightness without overpowering the other flavors.
Use sturdy bread. Sourdough or a hearty whole-grain loaf stands up best to the fillings.
Balance the textures. Keep some crunch (walnuts, crisp lettuce) and some creaminess (cheese, mayo) in every bite.

Customizations
Cheese swaps: Try goat cheese, feta, or sharp white cheddar instead of blue cheese.
Nut alternatives: Toasted pecans or almonds work beautifully too.
Make it grilled: Butter the outside of the bread and grill in a skillet or panini press until golden and melty.
Add bacon: For extra saltiness and crunch, add a few slices of crispy bacon.
Veggie version: Use roasted vegetables (like sweet potato slices or portobello mushrooms) in place of turkey.
