If your life lately looks like folding camp chairs, packing snacks in the car, and spending weekends at the soccer/baseball field… welcome, sports moms! This week’s Love List is a little sports mom edition – all the things making game days easier, cozier, and honestly a little more fun. From the wagon that hauls everything, to snacks, slow cooker dinners waiting at home, and the water bottles I swear by… these are the finds saving me lately. Also included: first aid essentials, zip lock bags (because somehow you always need one), and the sweatshirt that perfectly sums up weekends around here: reading is my favorite sport lol. A little roundup of practical favorites + cozy finds from around the web that are making this busy season feel a little sweeter.
- Sports chair – I now just have one in my trunk at all times.
- Snacks pouch – I always carry this on game day and fill it up for the kids!
- Snack box – I also have this divided one for when I’m bringing snacks for groups – this is great for fruit!
- Mini first aid kit – you would not believe how frequently I use this kit, it’s amazing! This is my second one! Booboos are instantly made better by a fun band-aid
- Wagon – this is a recent purchase. I saw another mom have a wagon and was pulling her little one and snacks and sports bags around, I asked her where she got it and immediately purchased one, it lives in my trunk now!
- Zip lock bags – I always carry a few with me, they’re great for collecting trash lol.
- I also use bags for freezer meals which are a lifesaver for after late sports practices. Here are some fave recipes and roundups:
- Skylight calendar – honestly, we would be lost without our Skylight calendar. We’ve been using it for 2 years, and I cannot say enough amazing things about it. Every kid gets their own color, the phone app is amazing and I can actually tell you if one of my kids is busy on a given day. It syncs with google and outlook. It’s incredible!
- Sweatshirt – my faves are this Weekends. Coffee. Soccer sweater – I own it in gray. And this one that says “Reading is my favorite sport” lol, I love wearing that one to games, I have it in Navy.
- Kiziks – when I’m walking everywhere from field to field, these are so comfy
- Water bottle – I’m a total Owala convert, their bottles are amazing. The kids have them too – check out the Owala shop
