There’s nothing quite like the delicate, sweet and floral scent of peonies. As I was out gardening this weekend I cut a few of the newly bloomed peonies for a bouquet.
The fragrant aroma of the flowers was almost intoxicating, it brought quotes and good thoughts to mind
“Where flowers bloom, so does love” & “My garden of flowers is also my garden of thoughts and dreams.”
And since I was in the process of making a delicious cake, I thought of the Julia Child Quote “a party without a Cake is just a meeting.”

I bet that was just SO pretty to have peonies at your wedding! I had wanted them at mine, but they weren’t in season so I just went with what was, but I am super jealous 😉 Hope you had a great weekend as well!
