Catching Up With The Kelnhofers -139

Aug 4, 2022 · Leave a Comment

Wow has time flown by this summer! We took a trip to Door County, and had lots out outside play time with the kids. Hope you enjoy this months’ Catching Up With The Kelnhofers.

Nick and I went to a Farm-to-Table dinner with Wisconsin Cheese. It was kind of surreal, the weather was beautiful, the location was stunning-right on Lake Michigan-and the food was incredible. Made me appreciate living in a state with such incredible cheese and produce.

On the weekends we just go outside in our driveway and let the kids play with their scooters or with chalk.

We went to German Fest in Milwaukee. It is held at the Summerfest grounds and it was PACKED.

So many park visits, Freddie finally went down a small slide (he’s afraid of heights) and loved it and kept going more and more. Also, just look at Sam’s little 2 front teeth.

Speaking of Sam and his teeth coming in, he’s just starting to eat solid food. He LOVES zucchini waffles!

We love the library and always have fun looking at the fountain they have in their parking lot before looking at the books. Frankie gets a princess or fairy book, Freddie gets dinosaur books and Ben gets a LEGO book.

Ben loves the oatmeal at Starbucks, it’s really cute, he picks it over a cake pop!

Even though the kids got a little sick (ok, it was a lot sick – it was a nasty stomach bug) we had a nice vacation in Door County. A highlight was definitely Wild Tomato pizza (everyone raved to us about this, and it’s definitely worth the trip, so good and unique flavors).
