This Catching Up With The Kelnhofers talks about school photos and Trader Joes finds, oh, and Ben learned how to open the child locks on the pantry, lol.
The younger 3 got their school pictures taken, and they’re just too cute!!
With the beautiful weather we’ve been having, we spent some time outside with all the kids. My sister got me a carrier so Sam gets to join us!
Ben got chosen as Student of the Month at school for being kind and a good listener. We got him a cake and he was so excited.
We found out the kids work together to open the pantry door. Ben figured out how to open it and showed me how he uses the stand mixer to climb to higher shelves; rascal, lol.
I absolutely love love loved the library when I was a kid and into adulthood. I’m so glad I think my kids enjoy it too.
My older sister sent us a box of clothes for Frankie from her daughter and Frankie has loved dressing up for every occasion. Give her anything poofy or with sparkles or pink and she’s in love.
On Mother’s day I cried opening the handmade items, they were so sweet! And then we went to an outdoor Farmers Market at Milaegers in Racine. It was lovely.
Nick and I went on a date night to Odd Duck – they recently moved locations – still amazing. And when we were there the woman sitting next to us was someone I’d known and last seen 8 years ago!! Wow!! So that was a pleasant surprise.

What we’ve been eating:
- We’ve started our grilling season and use this grilling meal prep a lot!
- I got green jalapeño hot sauce from Trader Joes and it’s beyond good!!! See here for my Trader Joes haul.
