Gift Guide for Kids

For anyone shopping for kids out there, this is the gift guide for you!  Whether you’re shopping for an infant or a toddler or that kid that’s growing up too quickly, we have plenty of great ideas for you in this gift guide for kids.

Between the members on the SweetPhi team, we have a 6 year old, a 5 year old, (3) 3 year old kids and a 1 year old – PHEW – so we have plenty of ideas to share with you.

1. Kids polarized sunglasses 

• Grab a 4-pack because kids will break them, lose them or simply decide that they want a different color each day.  Polarized sunglasses will actually protect their eyes on those bright snowy days!

2. Fold out chairs with umbrellas

• Phi’s kids love these so so much and love that they each have their own color!  Great for hanging in the backyard, bringing to the beach or for watching a soccer game. 

3. Little bunny with suitcase

• A beautiful stuffed animal with a super fun ice-cream themed suitcase.  We love this brand for its quality and lovely gifts.  And you can also snag a kitty cat version or doll version; all so cute!

4. Musical llama

• Phi bought this for Frankie 2 years ago and she still loves it to this day.  Talk about a great investment!  This gift is great for kids of almost any younger age.  Start them at 1 years old and they’ll keep discovering new favorite parts of this toy in the years to come.  Play with a xylophone, drum, spinning gears and more.

5. Yeti in my Spaghetti

• You’ve probably heard of this hilarious game.  You’ll pile noodles on top fo the Yeti, but be careful not to let him fall!  This silly game will keep everyone entertained and giggling the night away.

6. Storybook projector 

• A super fun way to read (and watch) stories!  The projector also serves as a starry night light and is portable so you can take it anywhere.

• This book is full of fun craft and how-to activities for parents and kids to do together.  All of our kids love crafting and it’s a great way kill a ton of time and end up with something you’ve created together and the kids will be super proud of.

• Arts and crafts always make great gifts and this set is perfect for any unicorn-loving kid out there.  You’ll get crayons, scented erasers, stickers and much more!

• Puzzles are great for kids of all ages and this one makes a great gift.  Not only will kids learn their letters, but also their numbers with this double-sided, 20-piece puzzle.

13. Weighted stuffed animal

• A kid-friendly alternative to the weighted blankets, we love these weighted stuffed animals.  They are available in a variety of sizes and price points, so you can find one that works best for you.  A great gift for helping provide a little calm to the kiddo in your life.

• I’m sure you’ve seen plenty of kid’s doctor sets out there, but how cute is this one!?  You can only find this set at Pottery Barn and it includes a fully zippered bag with an apron, thermometer, medicine bottle, stethoscope, ear tool, syringe, hammer, clipboard, and bandage paper.  The materials are wood and fabric, making it visually pleasing for mom and kiddo alike.

15. Crinkle book

• Phi has this for Sam and they both love it.  It’s adorable and great for tactile learning.  The taco book will teach you all about the toppings it takes to create the perfect taco – a very important life lesson for the baby’s in your life 🙂

16. Holiday gnome jammies

• What’s not to love!?  These pajamas are festive, but not over the top so they can be worn well after Christmas.  Plus, if you’ve been around for awhile, you know how much Phi loves gnomes!

17. Rideable semi-truck

• Check out this semi-truck that kids can actually ride in and carry a load! Bridget said when her son was smaller, he would have loved this!

18. Bath squirt toys 

• Bath time is playtime and this 8-toy set is a super simple addition to any bath tub.  Each character spits water and swims around the tub; super fun for your kiddos!

19. Alphabet block book 

• A great book for a young kid as they start to learn their letters.  It allows to kids to explore the shape and look of the letter as they read through the alphabet.  Plus, it is beautifully illustrated!

• If they can learn while they play, then why not!?  You’ll get 26 letters and 10 numbers that will float around in the tub and stick to the walls when wet.

21. Sink N’ Sand Game 

• We all love a good game night and this is a fun one to play with kids of all ages.  The anticipation of when you’re going to sink gets the kids excited and the fun never stops.  The game says 4+ but we’ve found that 3 year olds have tons of fun playing it.

• A favorite of Phi’s kids, these make a mess but are 100% worth it.
