Unfried Cornflake Chicken and green beans

This is seriously THE BEST Chicken ever! It comes out so crispy on the outside with a perfect taste!

Ingredients

  • 2 cups corn flakes cereal
  • 2-3 lbs chicken breasts
  • ¾ cup flour
  • 3 tbs paprika
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp pepper
  • 3 tbs butter
  • Skim milk

Directions

Preheat oven to 450. Cut chicken into strips and put in bowl and cover up with skim milk, let sit 20-30 minutes. While chicken is marinating in milk, in the bowl of a food processor put all the dry ingredients and grind together. Melt butter in microwave and pour on bottom of pan. After 20 or so minutes take the chicken strips and coat them with the corn flakes mixture. After coated lightly put in butter and then flip and lay in pan. Repeat with all pieces of chicken –coating and laying in pan.

For the green beans, wash and cut the ends and cut the green beans in half. In a pan add a little bit of olive oil and add 2 garlic cloves. add the green beans and saute until done.

Put in oven and bake for 20 minutes, flip chicken and put back in the oven for another 20 minutes.

    I will definitely be trying this recipe out SOON! I was thinking of using drum sticks instead since thats what we have in the freezer. Have you ever tried this recipe with drum sticks before? Do you recommend doubling the recipe? Could you recommend a cooking time?

      Oh I think you’ll absolutely love this recipe!! You could definitely double it. I have made it with drum sticks and it’s delicious – I cooked them for around 40-50 minutes, I ended up using a digital thermometer to check for doneness (165 degrees).
