Where have I been?

Jun 28, 2012 · 2 Comments

That is a question some of you may be asking….well, my beautiful older sister got married, I helped her with her wedding and baked some goodies (recipes will follow in a post).

Also, my awesome fiance and his family helped build me a beautiful raised garden bed!

I’ve still been cooking and taking pictures and have a ton of awesome recipes to post so stay tuned these next few days.

My beautiful sister got married 6-9-2012

My fiance and his dad goofing around as they started building the raised planter box. Instructions for the planter box here (ours even has a mineral oil wash to keep the Cedar looking nice!) http://organicgardening.about.com/od/startinganorganicgarden/a/raisedbed.htm

The crew that filled the dirt with us at night because the dirt got dropped off in the alley! That’s me in the middle

The finished and planted raised planter bed, with netting and all. (I will post a picture of this thing now, it’s completely bloomed and looks amazing!

The Milwaukee Skyline, as seen from Bayview. Look how gorgeous it is! I love this city!
