Green Juice – Without A Juicer

This is your sign to start making green juice at home—even if you don’t own a juicer. This no juicer required green juice is vibrant, refreshing, and shockingly easy to make with just a blender, a fine mesh strainer (or cheese cloth), and a handful of fresh produce. I make a batch and tell myself I’ll just sip a little… then I end up drinking 2 or 3 little shot glasses…it’s so good!!

I played around with the recipe to get the proportions just right, based on juices I’d had at cafes over the years. Then we went on vacation to Seattle, and I spotted my exact green juice on a coffee shop menu. Obviously, I had to order it to see how it stacked up—and it tasted almost identical. That’s how I knew this recipe was a winner.

Why You’ll Love This Recipe

  • No juicer needed – Just a high-powered blender and a strainer.

  • Refreshing and energizing – The combo of crisp apples, cucumber, celery, parsley, and lemon gives that ahhh feeling in every sip.

  • Naturally sweetened – A touch of honey (or Manuka honey if you’re feeling fancy – Manuka honey is good for your immune system) balances the tartness.

  • Immune-boosting ingredients – Packed with vitamin C, antioxidants, and anti-inflammatory benefits from parsley, lemon, honey, and apples, this green juice gives your immune system a natural nudge.
  • Hydrating and feel-good – You’ll feel like a wellness influencer but without the $12 juice bar price tag.

Tips for Success

  • Blend thoroughly. You want everything broken down as much as possible for maximum juice extraction. Use a high powered blender.

  • Use cold water for a more refreshing juice, especially if you plan to drink it right away.

  • Strain slowly. Let gravity do most of the work if you’re using cheese cloth—then squeeze out the rest. I use either a mesh strainer or cheese cloth.

  • Drink within 5-7 days. It’s freshest the day you make it, but stores well in the fridge for a couple of days in a sealed jar. I like to use 2 oz glass jars.

Customizations

  • Add pineapple – Toss in ½ cup of chopped fresh pineapple before blending for a sweeter, tropical twist.

  • Swap parsley for mint or cilantro – Both work beautifully and give it a different herbal vibe.

  • Use green grapes instead of apples – For a slightly different kind of sweetness.

  • Add kale – A cup of chopped kale blends right in and adds even more greens without overpowering the flavor.

Serving Suggestions

  • Over ice. That’s it. No frills, just cold, crisp, and refreshing.

  • As a daily shot. Pour into small glass jars or shot glasses and keep in the fridge for a quick morning boost.

  • Before or after a workout. It’s a great way to hydrate and feel good.
