In the last Catching Up With The Kelnhofers I was talking about time flying and guess what? It still is! I can’t believe it’s November, but here we are. Check out what we’ve been up to this past month!
Sam is 11 months old! He has 6 little teeth and is such a great eater and is so smiley. I just love him so much!
We visited an apple orchard and were the only ones there! We learned that apple season is Sept – early October but we had so much fun and there were still plenty apples.
I’m going to make apple butter and mini apple galettes!

Whenever we little friends over, we make pizza (how to make pizza with kids!) We’ve also made tri-colored pizza, it’s truly delicious and the kids love mixing the colors of the different sauces.

Unfortunately there were a few sick days sprinkled in this past month. It’s crazy how something will come home with one of the kids and then it will make the rounds! Thankfully they’re all on the mend now.
Ben is in a soccer club this year. It’s a whole ‘thing’ – two practices a week and sometimes multiple games per weekend – but I love being a soccer mom and he loves it. Also, can we agree this is the cutest little soccer picture ever?
Is there anything better than visiting a pumpkin patch on a fall day? Each of the kids got to pick out their own pumpkin!
We get so many leaves by our house, it’s a little unreal. The 3 older kids helped and were using snow shovels! The second you turn around though, more leaves have fallen and you can’t even tell anything was done lol! We do have a neighbor who literally leaf blows at 8pm, so maybe it’s just their leaf free lawn that makes ours look even worse? lol
Now that Sam is starting to move – he has this adorable scoot/arm pull crawl he does – whenever I’m cooking he joins me, like when I was making my favorite butternut squash soup.

A few other random photos from the past month!
This picture of all 4 of the kids will be one of my favorites forever.
How was your October?

The constant sickness thing is real! We’ve been sick three times since our kiddo started kindergarten in September. I am, in fact, sick right now.
Blearghhhh.

Oh no, I hope you feel better! Isn’t constant sickness the worse? My poor husband has been sick, then a little less sick, then the kids got him re-sick and oh my goodness, it’s been months lol! Here’s to a better winter – hoping we all just got this out of our systems, right?
