Hummus is one of my absolute favorite dips. It’s good as an appetizer, it’s good as a snack, it’s just all around good! So I tried to make it a few times, and I feel it gets better every time I make it.
Ingredients:
1 can chickpeas (garbanzo beans)
Juice of 1 lemon
1 tsp. Tahini
1 tsp. Olive Oil
1 Garlic clove (minced)
Open can of chickpeas and reserve 2 tbs of liquid. Put Chickpeas, remaining liquid, juice of 1 lemon, 1 tsp Tahini, minced garlic, and olive oil in a food processor, mix for about 1 minute, when done, put in storage container and put in fridge. Serve with sprinkled paprika and cumin on top with some warm pita wedges or vegetables.
After I bought the one can of tahini, it has lasted so long-well worth the $4 investment
