GAH this mini naan pizza recipe is so stupid easy! It is a recipe my husband Nick made for the kids when I was at work late – I came home and had some leftovers from the kids plates (you know how that goes) and was like “WHAT IS THIS?” lol. So, these mini naan pizzas recipe is fully credited to my wonderful husband Nick!
Nick made this naan pizza recipe because we didn’t have anything in the house. It’s like a better/quicker version of a frozen pizza you never knew existed. And since we love making pizza with our kids, this is another recipe that’s kid-friendly!
We’ve all had those days where you cannot think of a single thing to eat and you definitely haven’t grocery shopped in over a week. When those nights hit, Naan pizzas to the rescue! They have become our go to easy dinner. We serve it with a small side salad and some fruit. You can adjust your side dish items based on who is eating the meal (kids vs. adults).
Melty cheese and the most perfect spice blend make these irresistible (and a quick pizza!!!). My favorite part is is the awesome spice mix. To make this mix, you’ll need the following ingredients:
- garlic salt
- garlic powder
- onion powder
Once you have the seasoning mix ready, simple sprinkle that and cheese on top of your naan bread and top however you’d like! These can be made on a big naan, or on mini naans. We prefer making them on mini naan so each person can have their own. You can also make them on tortillas (my cousin-in-law, hi Rachel, makes them on tortillas!)
And funny story, as I was photographing these, Ben snuck into my office and stole a few pieces! Look at his guilty (and very happy) face above!
