I’m so excited to share this summer Audible book listening list with you! I am such an avid book fan, especially audible books (or listening to books).
With so much time spent in the car, or even in the vicinity of my phone, I’ve been a huge audio book fan for years. I go through 1-2 books a week. I also love reading a traditional book, but when I had my son Ben, I soon learned I didn’t always have my hands free or have free time to pick up a book. My love of audio books has remained strong over the years, so today I’m so excited to share with you what’s on my summer Audible listening list as well as some past favorites. I’d love to hear from you in the comments-do you have any favorites?
The Unhoneymooners – Christina Lauren- “For two sworn enemies, anything can happen during the Hawaiian trip of a lifetime – even love – in this witty and swoon-worthy romance from the New York Times best-selling duo who “hilariously depict modern dating” (Us Weekly) and authors of Josh and Hazel’s Guide to Not Dating and Roomies”
From Scratch – Tembi Locke – “A poignant and transporting cross-cultural love story set against the lush backdrop of the Sicilian countryside, where one woman discovers the healing powers of food, family, and unexpected grace in her darkest hour.”
The Library of Lost and Found – Phaedra Patrick – “A librarian’s discovery of a mysterious book sparks the journey of a lifetime in the delightful new novel from the international best-selling author of The Curious Charms of Arthur Pepper.”
The Last Romantics – Tara Conklin – “From the New York Times best-selling author of The House Girl comes a novel about our most precious and dangerous attachment: family.”
Dry Hard – Nick Spalding – He’s been one of my favorite authors, love listening to his books because they’re narrated in an English accent. “From the bestselling author of Fat Chance and Checking Out comes a hilarious story about giving up…but definitely not giving in.”
City of Girls – Elizabeth Gilbert – “From the number-one New York Times best-selling author of Eat, Pray, Love and The Signature of All Things, a delicious novel of glamour, sex, and adventure, about a young woman discovering that you don’t have to be a good girl to be a good person.”
Books I’ve listened to already that I’d definitely recommend:
Where the Crawdads Sing – Delia Owens
Daisy Jones and the Six – Taylor Jenkins Reid
The Kiss Quotient (this book is a steamy one) – Helen Hoang
How to Walk Away – Katherine Center
An American Marriage – Tayari Jones
Little Fires Everywhere – Celeste Ng
The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo – Taylor Jenkins Reid
My Not So Perfect Life – Sophie Kinsella
The Hating Game – Sally Thorne
The Hypnotists Love Story – Liane Moriarty
