Things to do in Milwaukee – Milwaukee City Guide

May 25, 2013 · 4 Comments

Milwaukee City Guide this image

When I moved to Milwaukee a few years ago I never thought I’d fall so in love with this town, known as the “Cream City” – not named after all the amazing dairy the state of WI produces, but rather the unique cream colored brick from which Milwaukee gets its nickname. There are so many unique things to do, so I thought I’d put together a little list as a guide or some suggestions. As always, I’d love to hear your suggests or additions, so comment away!

Milwaukee is known as “Cream City” because of the material and color of the bricks used in buildings built in the mid to late 19th century. It has nothing to do with dairy products.
