Triple Chocolate Oreo Cookies this image

Not one, not two, but THREE chocolates make up this most delicious, chewy and addictive cookie…and oh wait, there are oreos in the cookies too!

For some reason …I have made these cookies a bunch of times…like a BUNCH of times…hmmm…I wonder why?

You start by making your batter (a spoon full or two is ok for ‘tasting’ purposes, right?)

Then you scoop some batter up

And place the cookie dough from the scoop on a lined baking sheet. I’ve made these on both a parchment paper lined cookie sheet and a silicone mat lined sheet – speaking of which, I absolutely love my silicone baking sheet and use it ALL the time (thanks Grandma Rita!), the one I have is this one from Amazon and I recently got my cookie scoop which I’m obsessed with-it makes the most uniform cookies and makes the baking process so much easier – I’ve linked both the silicone mat and cookie scoop to my Amazon affiliate, so if you purchase through those links (thank you) I will earn a few pennies 🙂

Then you bake the cookies and try not to eat ALL THE COOKIES when they come out of the oven smelling delicious!

And even though there are three types of chocolates in these beauties, you can taste each chocolate.  The cocoa in the cookie batter, the white chocolate chunks and the dark chocolate chips, all stand on their own. And then when you bite in and get a bite of Oreo along with the other chocolates you just can’t help yourself from wanting to grab another cookie!

Prep Time: 10 minutes minutes
Cook Time: 10 minutes minutes
Total Time: 20 minutes minutes
Servings: 24

Ingredients

  • 1/2 Cup butter 1 stick of butter
  • 1/2 Cup Sugar
  • 1/2 Cup Brown Sugar
  • 1/3 Cup Cocoa Powder
  • 1 egg large egg
  • 1 tsp Vanilla extract
  • 1 1/4 Cup Flour
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 1/2 Cup Oreo cookies crushed
  • 1/2 Cup Dark Chocolate Chips
  • 1/4 Cup Baking White Chocolate broken up into chunks

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350. Line two baking sheets with parchment paper or silicone baking mats.
  • Cream together butter, sugars, and cocoa powder for 2 minutes with a stand mixer or hand mixer. Then add the vanilla extract and egg and beat until it all comes together and is creamy (about 1 minute).
  • Next add the flour, baking powder, baking soda and pinch of salt. Combine everything until cookie dough is combined, scrape down the sides.
  • Now add the crushed oreo chunks, chocolate chips and white chocolate chunks and stir it in with a wooden spoon.
  • Spoon a tablespoon worth a cookie dough with a cookie scoop (or with a spoon, then if you're doing the spoon method, form it into a ball with your hand and then press it a little as you put it on the baking sheet) place cookies 1 inch apart on the lined baking sheet.
  • Bake cookies for 10 minutes, then remove from oven and allow to cool (these cookies can over bake easily, so it's ok if they look a little wet in the middle, they'll cool and be chewy!)
  • After 5 minutes out of the oven transfer cookies to a wire cooling rack, allow to cool for 5 additional minutes, and then enjoy!

Thank you so much for your comment, 1 stick of butter is half a cup. I’ve updated the recipe with that, thanks for pointing that out 🙂

Awe, thanks girl! I had a similar ‘no words’ issue when I was writing this post… I was like Nick, what should I say about these cookies? and he goes ‘they are REALLY good, maybe you should make some right now so we can talk about how good they are’ lol! Thanks for commenting 🙂
