In this week’s meal plan, I’m sharing recipes to prep you for St. Patrick’s Day as well as every other day of the week! As always, don’t forget to save your favorite recipes and create a super easy grocery list.
Notes from this week’s meal plan
- This post shares 3 different ways to make homemade bagels
- Bagels made with Greek yogurt and self rising flour (no yeast bagels!)
- Bagels made with active dried yeast (traditional bagels recipe)
- Bagels made with sourdough starter (sourdough bagels recipe)
- You can get as creative as you’d like with toppings, but here are some of my favorites:
- Everything bagel seasoning
- Sesame seeds
- Poppy seeds
- Garlic/onion flakes
- Cinnamon sugar
- See the full post for tips on each bagel recipe
- The mini naan pizza recipe is for one singular naan pizza. It can easily be doubled/tripled or quadrupled for the whole family!
- Scallions and green onions can be used interchangeably. These sourdough scallion pancakes are just sourdough discard fried in a pan with sesame seeds/green onions-scallions and pinch of salt. So so easy!
- Serve with a fried egg for a hearty breakfast or enjoy for lunch/dinner.
Crispy Chickpea Shawarma Pita Recipe
- This recipe can be made in an air fryer or on the stovetop!
Sausage, squash, apple and corn sheet pan meal
- I use plain sausages in this recipe, but , but you can have a little fun and use flavored ones if that’s what you have!
- So you don’t have to spend time cutting butternut squash, you can buy it already pre-cut/frozen
- I like to use Fiji apples for this recipe because they are crisp and tart, but you can use whatever apple you’d like
- This recipe only uses 4 ingredients
- If you’re looking to cook with kids in the kitchen, this is a great recipe to try
- Try this recipe with ham and cheese if corned beef isn’t your thing. Or even turkey. Have some fun with the fillings!
- Various topping options include: maple syrup, powdered sugar, fresh sliced strawberries or blueberries mixed with sugar, chopped toasted walnuts or pecans and honey, Greek yogurt mixed with honey
- Recipe can easily be doubled, tripled, quadrupled depending on how many bananas you have.
Beer Brat and Caramelized Onion Pizza
- All the toppings of this pizza could be made ahead of time and then could be brought to the tailgate and you could grill the pizza there
- This is a great lunch, dinner or appetizer recipe.
