When your brain is on overload, with a million things to remember and things to do, you can take dinner off your mind and to do list by using a meal delivery service. We use it year round, but sure do appreciate it at times like back to school season.
Phi has tried and used a number of meal delivery services and reviewed them all here, but for back to school favorites, there are three meal delivery services that really stand out.
- Daily Harvest – this service is the best way to have a healthy breakfast or snacks on the go. Part of their mission is to help you eat more fruits and veggies…easily! All of their food comes frozen because that helps keep things fresh and lock in flavors and nutrients. And an extra bonus!? The business was founded by a woman – we love that!
- Hungryroot – super delicious, easy, (think premade meatballs and 90 second rice, its glorious) and healthy and they have meals and grocery items (like healthy snacks for the kids)!
- The final meal delivery option we love is Home Chef’s ‘oven ready’ meals. These meals require super minimal prep and we’ve been a long time fan of Home Chef because their meals taste so good and the whole family (adults and kids seem to really love it!)
