Happy Halloween! We had over 120 trick-or-treaters this year! We ran out of candy (which is actually good because that means we didn’t eat at it!)
I love the Little Bitty Bakes BlogĀ and all the cool recipes Liz posts. I decided to make the Candy Corn Macadamia Nut Blondies recipe in honor of Halloween and was not disappointed! They were absolutely delish!
Ingredients:
- 1 12-ounce package white chocolate chips
- 1/4 cup butter or margarine, softened
- 1 14-ounce can sweetened condensed milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup candy corn
- 1 cup macadamia nuts, roughly chopped
Heat the oven to 350 degrees F.Ā Line a 9-inch square baking pan with parchment paper, then lightly spray the parchment paper with non-stick cooking spray.
Put the white chocolate chips and butter in a microwaveable safe bowl and microwave for 1 min 30 seconds, stirring at 30 second intervals. You may need to add a few seconds depending on your microwave strength.
Take out of microwave and stir in the condensed milk until smooth. Ā Add the vanilla and flour; mix well.Ā Fold in the candy corn and macadamia nuts.
Spread into the pan and bake 20 to 25 minutes or until the edges are golden brown.Ā Allow to cool completely before cutting into bars.
Go to print the recipe from Little Bitty Bakes HereĀ (only difference between the recipes is that I microwaved the chips and butter versus using the stove.
