In this week’s Love List, the SweetPhi team is sharing a few fun 2022 roundups, great gift ideas for well beyond Christmas and more!
- I absolutely loved Stillness is Key by Ryan Holiday, I don’t know why I’m only now finding out about The Daily Stoic, but I’m getting a copy and going to start January 1!!
- Reasonably priced if I do say so myself – candles with crystals inside
- Cannot recommend this 5 minute journal enough – I fill mine out every morning, it just helps focus the day and puts me in a happy mindset.
- For the past few years, I’ve picked a ‘word of the year’ (as something to help guide the intentions of the year and to come back to.) In years past I’ve chosen: Forward, Just Do It, Simplify and Abundance. This coming year my word will be Listen. To me it’s both literal and figurative – learning to listen more to my body and intuition (around weight loss, I’m done having kids and have some weight loss related intentions) and then literally I have some courses I’ve gotten over the years that I still have access too that I’d love to re-listen to!I Do you have a word of the year? I always love hearing and talking about words of the year!!!
- The trailer for Barbie is out – weirdly looking forward to this (we grew up in a ‘wooden toy’ kind of house so I’m always fascinated by pop culture and plastic toys, lol).
- OMG the coziest looking sweater; cannot wait to check out more pieces from this brand!
Bridget’s Picks

- This is my absolute favorite lip color. It looks great dressed up a bit or for everyday wear. Plus, the price is right!
- My father-in-law is a big bird house fan and I was so excited to score this awesome bird feeder as a gift for him. The shop owner was so helpful and shipping from Canada was super quick actually. Highly recommend this as a gift – 3D printed bird houses/feeders is fun designs and customized colors.
- Stumbled across these super fun headphones (they have earbuds too) and wireless speakers – another great gift for a teen in your life or to have on-hand for yourself.
- I’m a big fan of True Crime, so I loved this list of the best shows of the year.
Alyssa’s Picks

- We watched a lot of movies over the holiday weekend and this one was the best one we saw! One of my favorite movies growing up was Matilda and they just released the musical version on Netflix and it was pretty cute but I like the original version better!
- Whenever I paint my nails they never last more than a day without getting ruined or a chip so I tried this stuff out. So far so good! It doesn’t chip as easily and it dries pretty quick.
- I needed a charcuterie board for the holidays but couldn’t find a good wood one last minute, so I grabbed this glass one which actually worked perfect as a charcuterie board!
- I loved reading this roundup of 2022 bestselling products and this one for the top Amazon products.

I’m very interested in The Daily Stoic; thanks for recommending it. Books with daily chapters are the best!
PS: My word of the year is “Peaceful.” It came from a sign I saw on Etsy (which I bought), which said, “Peaceful mind, grateful heart.” In 2023, I’m trying to get rid of objects, habits and commitments that DON’T give me peace.
Happy New Year! May it be healthy and happy.

I hope you love The Daily Stoic, I’ve been reading it every day this year so far and I find it really soothing.
I absolutely love that word of the year and story behind it, that’s so great!! I hope you have a peaceful year, and I couldn’t agree more with getting rid or things that don’t serve you anymore, wishing you best of luck!
Thank you for your wonderful comments always, they make my day!
