We’re sharing how to make a Thanksgiving snack board that will keep your guests happy while they’re waiting for the turkey to be ready!
It always seems that when Thanksgiving dinner is being cooked – or any dinner really – everyone ends up in the kitchen taking small little nibbles and tastes here and there. It’s probably because they’re hungry, so we figured this Thanksgiving snack board would help curb their hunger.

You can use almost anything you want on this snack board, but here is what we used:
- Dried apricots
- Grapes
- Candied nuts
- Seasoned oyster crackers
- Salami
- Breadsticks
- Chocolate pumpkins – which I found at Aldi
- Dark chocolate
- M&M’s – use seasonal colors for an extra touch
- Walnuts
- Pickles
- Raisins
- Goat cheese
- Grapes
- Crackers
- Brie
- Pear
- Pistachios
- Apple
- Cheddar cheese – cut into leaf shapes (using cookie cutters like these)

To help create movement on a charcuterie board, you can place the meat in a curved pattern. With each placement, fold the piece of meat into fours and set on the board (check out how in the gif above and image below).

Charcuterie boards are all the rage and we all agree that we could legit just eat one for dinner every night, so we’re just super excited to create a Thanksgiving charcuterie board. A plate full of snacks is fun for adults and kids alike – making it perfect for a holiday get together.

If you don’t have the above-mentioned items or are looking for some more inspiration, here are a few other ideas that would be great on this snack board.
- Seed crackers
- Jam
- Any nuts you’d like
- Pretzels
- Other dried fruits (like cherries, for example)
- Yogurt covered raisins
- A mixture of vegetables – carrots, cucumbers, celery

This Thanksgiving snack board is beautiful to look at and would even make a great centerpiece on any table. We like to feed it to guests while we are completing dinner, but it would also taste great as part of the meal!

I would go for those yummy looking oyster crackers first! Thanks Phi for the inspiration.

I would definitely have to snack on those yummy looking seasoned oyster crackers! I actually just picked up the ingredients for that recipe this weekend. I’ll be making it to take over to my parent’s house for Thanksgiving.

I love cheese/snack boards. Cheese, nuts and dried apricots are the first thing I go for. Yum. Just made a small one tonight to enjoy with my husband with a glass of wine after a busy work week. Cheers!
