For this Five Ingredient Friday we’re going sweet with a super easy 5 Ingredient Nutella Cookie! These were obviously super easy to make, tasted so good, and they have this great chewy texture and the sea salt really brings out the hazelnuty chocolate taste of the Nutella, all around an amazing cookie. I don’t know if you’ll love me or hate me for posting this recipe, because if you can make it through a day without these cookies being gone, all power to you (haha).

Prep Time: 15 minutes minutes
Cook Time: 10 minutes minutes
Total Time: 25 minutes minutes
Servings: 24

Ingredients

  • 1. 1 Cup Nutella
  • 2. 3/4 Cup Flour
  • 3. 3 Tbs Brown Sugar
  • 4. 1 egg
  • 5. 1-2 Tbs sea salt

Instructions

  • Combine the flour, brown sugar and egg in a bowl, add the nutella in and combine really well (this will take a little muscle to incorporate everything, I use my hands if a spoon doesn't work).
  • Lay out a piece of plastic wrap, shape contents of the nutella cookie batter into a log shape and wrap up in plastic and put in the freezer for 10-15 minutes.
  • Preheat oven to 350 and line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Take roll of cookie dough out of the freezer and with a sharp knife cut 24-30 slices. Lay slices about an inch apart. Bake for 10 minutes and then remove from oven. Sprinkle sea salt on top of cookies, and allow to cool for half an hour, then enjoy and watch them disappear!

Thanks for the comment Addie, I think your boyfriend will definitely love these-they disapeared when I made them in my house, my husband loved them and he’s not even that big of a nutella fanatic as I am!

What I love about these cookies is that there are so few ingredients, they’re so easy to make, and anyone who loves Nutella will absolutely love these! They didn’t last very long in my house…I’ll admit…I’m the Nutella fiend in my household lol!
