This week on Catching up with the Kelnhofers I’m finishing up the last few days of a whirlwind holiday break, sharing tons of fun Christmas photos and giving you a few recipes to kick off your New Year. Oh, and we’re celebrating the twins turning 6 months old!
Holy Cow, TIME FLEW right by my this week. I cannot believe that it’s back to “real life.” The holidays were full of magical excitement with the kids…and the whirlwind of friends and family.
Moving out of the blur and into the new year, I was so excited to do some major advanced planning for the blog. So, one more weekend and I’ll be back to full-time work and blogging. It turns out that I needed just a tad bit of extra time to get in all of my planning! In the meantime, here are a few pictures from our Christmas Break and the twins turning 6 months old!
Line 1: Christmas Eve – we had prime rib and yorkshire puddings, we had matching family pjs (we got ours from Macy’s)
Line 2: Ben left cookies for Santa and carrots/an apple for the reindeer, and Christmas morning
Line 3: Twins playing, Ben showing Frankie how one of her toys work, a fun family picture lol, Ben playing with his cousin Gigi, Ben opening some presents Christmas morning – we’ll never forget how cute he was opening gifts, he wanted to play with each one before moving on to the next one.
Line 4: Freddie and I, we took the family to the zoo, Ben helped us hang pictures, we cooked with Ben, and the twins in their Christmas outfits
Line 5: I did a whole day of content planning for Sweetphi.com (is was glorious), Nick and I went to brunch (just the two of us), I took Ben to the store and it started snowing so he was catching snow flakes, and we are feeding the twins so we got out highchairs, Ben naturally wanted to be in one (good thing I had 3 from photographing my baby food cookbook).

This year, my word of the year is FORWARD. I’m moving forward being the best mom and wife I can be and I am making major strides moving forward with the blog business and moving tasks and projects forward…because once things move forward and get in motion, they keep going! Last year I picked ‘just do it’ meaning I would just do it if were a task that needed to get done, and that really helped guide me through the year. I love picking a word to guide my year.
