This is one my favorite posts all year! I love to look back and see what recipes were the most popular on the blog, so I can share them all with you. The top 10 recipes of 2018 do not disappoint. I’m happy to see quite a few healthy recipes top the list to kick off the New Year.
- Spinach Salad & Dressing – this is such a great and versatile recipe, so many adaptations can be made, and it turns out great every time!
- 5 Ingredient Slow Cooker Cheesy Potatoes – this recipe works great as a side dish at any party.
- Pepperoni Pasta Salad in a Jar – a meal prep salad that’s perfect when you’re on the go or don’t have time to make your lunch
- Make Ahead Freezer Quiche – I’ll eat this recipe for any meal of the day. Flexible and freezer ready!
- Healthy Slow Cooker Breakfast Casserole – another slow cooker dish that’s great for a crowd…or rather, the day after the crowd. When you can’t imagine having to cook one more thing, simply set it and forget it.
- Perfectly Baked Salmon – I often get asked how to make salmon and this recipe sums it up. It’s simple and delicious.
- Sheet Pan Pork Chops – any meal that can be made on one sheet pan is good by me. Less dishes!
- 5 ingredient Cheesy Beef Noodle Casserole – a real comforting dish that is kid-approved.
- Sour Cream and Chive Turkey Burgers – I love this recipe, especially in the summertime. The ground turkey is full of flavor.
- 5 Ingredient Crock Pot Pork Roast and Potatoes – a meal that is only 5 ingredients and can be made in my slow cooker – can’t get any better than that!
- Peanut Butter Banana Chocolate Chip Granola Bars – I love using this recipe to make ahead and have healthy snacks to grab any time of day.
- The Best Pumpkin Loaf – this recipe continues to be a favorite of my readers all year long. It rivals the Starbucks version and everyone who eats it loves it!
The list turned into the top 12 recipes of 2018 because three recipes were tied, so I just had to share them all!
I’ll save the most important part until the end. The best part of this post is that I love saying THANK YOU! You have all made 2018 the best year yet for SweetPhi and I can’t wait to see what 2019 brings.

I can’t wait to make your sour cream and chive turkey burgers!! I’m always looking for a different flavor for my burgers to keep the hubby away from so much beef lol! I also want to make the lentil soup!! I absolutely LOOOOOOVE soup in the winter (year round actually) but I think this will be my first to make in my new crockpot!
Sweetphi says
Oh my goodness, those turkey burgers, I could have them all the time (in fact I’m totally going to put them on my menu for next week because of your comment!)

Even got compliments about it at Christmas. I printed out “Healthy Crockpot Tumeric Chicken & Potatoes” eons ago. Plan to finally make it this week. Thanks for your fun posts and excellent recipes. Much happy deliciousness for the new year!

Truthfully, not sure that I made any of your recipes. I’d really like to try the Peanut Butter Banana Chocolate Chip Granola Bars with my kids. They’re starting to show more interest in the kitchen and I think the bars would be a healthy treat for them to pack in their school lunches!
Sweetphi says
I think your kids would love those granola bars – my son definitely loves them, he helps ‘mix’ the ingredients (sometimes making a big mess lol, but it’s part of the fun)
Erik says
I think the first recipe of yours that I tried and still use to this day is the Balsamic Grilled Vegetables-Side Dish Recipe. We’ll sub veggies depending on what’s available at the time, but that intense balsamic vinegar taste always pairs well with most grilled foods.
Sweetphi says
Thanks so much for commenting – I too use that recipe and sub in different veggies based on season, it’s my favorite way to serve veggies!

I have just joined the SweetPhi family and this past week I made your 5 ingredient pork roast and potatoes dish. I made it for 3 different families including my own extended family and it was amazing! The comments I got were out of this world. I had to be honest and tell them I got the recipe from SweetPhi so now they may be joining your family too! Thank you so much for making my holiday dish a success! I can’t wait to start using more of your recipes for my friends and family. It will be an amazing year with SweetPhi!
Sweetphi says
Thank you so much for that feedback! I am so happy to hear your family loved the dish too!

My youngest daughter has started an herb garden (hydroponic AeroGarden she received for Christmas), so I’m going to be looking for recipes to use fresh herbs this year! I’m a terrible cook in that I don’t like to do it, so that’s my resolution this year is to cook more, and now my daughter has given me a reason to do it. So I’ll be checking out more of your recipes!
Sweetphi says
I love that she got an herb garden, how fun! Two of my favorite recipes using fresh herbs are this herb butter flatbread: https://sweetphi.com/fresh-herb-butter-cheese-flatbread-recipe/ and this summer melon salad: https://sweetphi.com/summer-melon-salad/

I have made a bunch of your recipes over the years and every one was delicious and a keeper. The family requested your 5 Ingredient Slow Cooker Cheesy Potatoes Recipe again. I do not have an Instapot so your slow cooker recipes are high on my list. Today I am baking your Peanut Butter Banana Chocolate Chip Granola Bars because I have bananas that must be used asap. What better way then delicious bars that everyone can grab for a snack? Thank you for so many great recipes!
Sweetphi says
Awww, thank you so much for the sweet comment, so happy to hear you love so many of the recipes! I love those cheesy potatoes, I make them for all family parties too 🙂
