Grilled pork chops are a great, healthy dinner option that you’ll find yourself making on repeat all summer long. Pair it with a green salad or delicious marinated grilled balsamic vegetables for a fresh meal, we bet even the kids will eat!
When the weather warms up enough to grill, that’s always where you’ll find us prepping dinner. Pork is a great option to grill and we have the simplest marinade to amp up the flavor.
What do you need for a garlic marinade?
- Garlic cloves
- Salt
- Black pepper
- Olive oil
- Lemon

How do you make grilled pork chops?
- Grind garlic, salt, pepper, EVOO and lemon juice in a food processor, until it’s a thicker liquid (it won’t be a paste, it’ll be a thicker liquid).
- Put pork chops and marinade into a sealing bag or in a bowl and marinate for an hour or overnight. The longer you marinate the better the flavor.
- Grill pork chops by removing them from marinade and putting on the grill. Flip after 5 minutes, then use a meat thermometer. Pork is done when its 145-160. Let it sit 5 minutes to retain the juices, then slice and serve.

Do you know what pairs great with grilling season?
A Wisconsin old Fashioned. It’s Nick’s favorite drink to enjoy while he’s out on the grill and I must agree that it is quite enjoyable!

We love grilling veggies of any kind and chicken. I then use the veggies in frittatas, quesadillas with the chicken and veggies and salad with veggies. Also this grilled porch goes amazingly well chunked and in a salad the next day or sliced thin in a quesadilla.

Oh I love how you mentioned all the things you use the grilled veggies in, gave me an idea (I want to do a grilled chicken and veggie burrito, or maybe a burrito bowl!) Thanks so much!

I like to grill boneless skinless chicken thighs rubbed with olive oil, seasoned with garlic powder and rosemary. Simple and easy, yet so delicious.

We can’t wait to grill veggies, hello corn and zucchini and eggplant! With it right along side, grill up some great beer brats! Easy on the wallet (hard times 😔) but satisfying and full of flavor.

We love to grill veggies. They taste great straight from the grill, and they simplify meal prep for the whole week. (Grilled veggie quesadillas and grilled veggie quinoa salads are easy for lunch or dinner.)

Yes! Meal prep for the whole week on the grill is our favorite too.

As a special treat, we grill American Lamb Loin Chops which can also be called Loin T-Bone chops. We use a dry rub we make ourselves with a nice kick of smoked paprika and cayenne pepper and marinate the chops for 4-6 hours. We grill over direct heat on our Big Green Egg. So good!

That sounds absolutely delicious! Thank you for sharing.

love to grill fingerling potatoes in a foil pan with a little olive oil, sea salt and pepper when grilling our main meat dish. It’s an easy way to add a starch (required by hubby) to a summer meal without heating the oven or using the stove. Add a Tossed salad, and you have the perfect meal on a summer night!
I can’t wait to try the antipasto skewers and Old Fashion!

My absolute favorite thing to grill in the summer is corn! I add a little Mayo and Everything But The Elote seasoning from Trader Joe’s. Mouthwatering! For my friends with dairy allergies I used vegan Mayo and Stonewall’s chili & lime seasoning.
