Talk about the easiest recipe of all time – this sweet cream iced coffee recipe is super easy, and super amazing!  If you know Phi, you know how much she loves iced coffee – even if it’s cold out, it’s iced coffee in her cup.

If you’ve been around the SweetPhi blog for some time, you may know that we’ve shared a handful of latte recipes that you can easily make at home without any fancy equipment.  All you need is a mason jar and a microwave.  Get the full details and the how-to in either of these latte posts:

  • Homemade Iced Maple Latte
  • Homemade Iced Salted Honey Latte

But, if you’re not a latte fan and would rather add delicious cream to your coffee, this sweet cream recipe is for you.

The best tasting sweet cream iced coffee

What do you need to make your own sweet cream?

You only need two ingredients, which is the best part!

  • A pint of half and half
  • Sugar

If you’d like a little extra flavor, you can add in a splash of vanilla (but this is totally optional!)

The most amazing and easy sweet cream iced coffee

The best part about this recipe is that when you make your own sweet cream at home, it is half the price of the store bought container (literally, it is around $1.50 for half and half, and $3.75+ for the same quantity of pre-made sweet-cream creamer!).  Plus, you  know each and every thing going into it – no mystery ingredients!

The easiest sweet cream iced coffee

A friend of mine tasted this sweet cream iced coffee and shared about how much she loved ordering Vanilla Sweet Cream Cold Brew at Starbucks.  She said it sounds a lot like this recipe.  After trying both, we can confirm that this is another great Starbucks copycat recipe.

Do you have any other Starbucks copycat recipes?

Some of my favorite copycats can be found right here!

  • Pumpkin loaf
  • Fruit and nut Muesli bread rounds
  • Lemon loaf

I’d say whatever the expiration of the cream product you use is 🙂 Usually mine only lasts for the week, but could keep for two weeks
